How would you describe the procedure?
The procedure is performed by inserting a probe into the vagina with 360 degree rotation capability. The probe delivers thermal energy while simultaneously being inserted. It is a virtually painless procedure without surgery, anesthesia or downtime. Each treatment takes approximately 20 minutes. We recommend 3 treatments every 4 weeks for optimal results. Patients say they hardly feel anything and that it is comparable to having a pap smear. You are required to provide a recent normal pap smear report. You cannot be menstruating or spotting the day of the procedure.
